AGRIGENTO AND PIAZZA ARMERINA (Tuesday and Friday)
Departure from Taormina is at 6.30 am.
A full day excursion by bus through Sicily with tour leader and local guide service. Arriving in Agrigento, we will visit the Valley of the Temples (Juno, Concordia, Hercules, Olympian Zeus, Castor and Pollux). After lunch (optional), departure to Piazza Armerina and visit of the Roman Villa del Casale with its famous mosaics. Entry fees not included.
Return to Taormina is estimated around 7.30 pm.

ETNA SUNSET (Tuesday and Thursday)
Departure from Taormina is at 3.00 pm.
Excursion by bus and jeep with tour leader and alpine guide. Reaching Etna at 1.800 mts, ascent by jeep to the proximity of the main craters at about 3.000 mts. Remain until sunset and return. Time for dinner in a local restaurant at 1.800 mts. Warm clothes and suitable shoes are recommended. Departure time will be modified during the season depending on sunset time.

ETNA (Monday and Saturday)
Departure from Taormina is at 8.30 am.
A basic excursion to Mount Etna. Reaching Etna at 1.900 mts, time for trekking or optional ascent to the area of the main craters at 3.000 mts. Lunch upon request. Warm clothes and suitable shoes are recommended.
Return to Taormina is estimated around 4.00 pm

ETNA ROUND ALCANTARA (Wednesday and Friday)
Departure from Taormina is at 7.00 am.
A complete discovery of Mount Etna. Our tour will take you first to the Alcantara Gorges (Entry fee not included) and afterwards to the Mediaeval town of Randazzo, where we take a special old train called “Circumetnea” to Adrano, following the foot of Etna. Then, proceed by bus up to Etna South Station at 1.900 mts. Optional ascent to the main craters area at 3.000 mts, trekking or lunch upon request. Warm clothes and suitable shoes are recommended.
Return to Taormina is around 5.00 pm.

LIPARI / VULCANO (Monday - Wednesday and Friday)
Departure from Taormina is at 7.00 am.
Departure by bus to the harbour of Milazzo and transfer by private motorboat to the island of Lipari, passing by the characteristic pumice stone quarry. Free time for visiting the old town centre, with archaeological park, and for shopping. Transfer by motorboat to the island of Vulcano for a second stop. Possibility to swim in the warm sulphureous sea water, enjoy the beach and have lunch (optional). On the way back, navigation following the coastline, admiring the Faraglioni Rocks, the Horse Cave and other particular attractions. Ecotax not included.
Return to Taormina around 7.00 pm.

PALERMO / CEFALÙ (Wednesday and Saturday)
Departure from Taormina is at 6.00 am.
One day excursion through Sicily by bus with tour leader and local guide. Arriving in Palermo discover the most important Arab-Norman monuments such as the Martorana Church, the Cathedral, the Quattro Canti, Piazza Bellini, Piazza Pretoria, including a touch of local colour with the typical market “il Capo”. Otherwise, optional visit of Monreale. After lunch (facultative), sightseeing by bus and departure to Cefalù. Visit of the historical centre with the Cathedral.
Return to Taormina is around 7.30 pm.

ETNA VALLEY ALCANTARA (Sunday)
Departure from Taormina is at 8.00 am.
From Taormina by bus to the Alcantara Gorges for a short visit. Entry fee not included. Then the excursion will proceed to Randazzo. Visit to the Cathedral and the typical Sunday market. Departure to Etna North Refuge at 1.800 mts. Free time for lunch, trekking or reaching the main craters area at about 3.000 mts. by jeep. Warm clothes and suitable shoes are recommended.

SIRACUSA (Monday and Thursday)
Departure from Taormina is at 8.00 am.
A full day excursion by bus with tour leader and local guide. Visit of the Archaeological Area with Greek Theatre, Roman Amphitheatre, the Altar of Hieron II and Paradise’s Latomies with the “Dionysius Ear”. Following, visit of Ortigia Island with Arethusa’s fountain, the Temple of Apollo and the Cathedral. Lunch is optional. Entry fees not included.
Return to Taormina is scheduled around 6.00 pm.

NOTO – TELLARO - MARZAMEMI (Sunday)
Departure from Taormina is at 8.00 am.
A day excursion by bus with tour leader. Arrival in Noto and tour of the historic Baroque downtown. Proceed towards the Roman Villa of Tellaro to visit the mosaics. Travel to Marzamemi, with free time to enjoy swimming and shopping for local products from the typical “Tonnara”. Lunch optional.

CATANIA – RIVIERA DEI CICLOPI (Saturday)
Departure from Taormina is at 8.00 am.
One day excursion by bus with tour leader. Short panoramic tour and arrive in Piazza Alcalà. Visit the old town and the fish market. Free time for shopping. Continue along the coastal road to Acicastello and continue to Acitrezza. Optional lunch.
Return to Taormina (through the citrus groves of the Ionian coast) is estimated around 5.30 pm. (entry fees and lunch not included)

PANAREA / STROMBOLI (Tuesday - Thursday and Sunday)
Departure from Taormina is at 10.00 am.
Bus to Milazzo. Travel by private motorboat from the harbour of Milazzo to the island of Panarea. Free time on the island for visiting the village, enjoying the beach and having lunch (optional). Transfer to Stromboli and remain on the island until sunset. Light dinner on board. Visit to the “Sciara del Fuoco” by night admiring the volcano’s activity from the sea. Ecotax not included. Departure time will be modified throughout the season.
Return to Taormina is scheduled around midnight.
